Great News from FB
Day 31: Thank You God, Thank you Jesus and Thank you to all the prayer warriors. My dad has improved since Saturday. His blood counts and blood output indicate the surgery was successful in stopping the bleeding. This afternoon, he was successfully removed from the ventilator. He’s so strong and such a fighter. He’s making a big come back and we couldn’t be happier. God is good. Please keep him in your prayers for a full recover. When he’s well enough, he is going to love reading all of your comments and seeing all the people that are praying and think of him.

Surgery Update: About 11:15 last night the surgeon spoke with Pat (Larry's wife) and Larry was off the operating room table. He had received 4 pints of blood and 3 units of plasma, They tied off bleeding muscle tissue in the chest between some ribs, cleaned out the chest cavity, removed the blood clots, restored his blood pressure from 70 to 120 and did not have to remove his lung. He again has chest tubes for drainage (down from 4 to 2),is intubated and on a ventilator. The doctors says the surgery was successful and Larry will be in ICU starting his road to recovery -- again.
Pat and family greatly appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. They still have not seen him and today is Larry's 30 day in the hospital. Larry is so incredibly strong and fighting to get through this.

Thank you Douglas for the report on Larry. If he has half the prayers that my son Keith had, then I'm sure he is going to pull through this.
I appreciate you keeping us up on his condition. If there is anything I can do for Pat or Larry, besides prayer, please let me know.
Thanks again.
Polly
