Time for a reminder to register for the Eldridge Toy Run December 4 and 5. If you have ever made the ride you know how much fun it is and if you have not joined us why not be part of a great fundraiser and help some very grateful children - you cannot go wrong helping the kids.
Please register at the Club website: click the Eldridge Toy Run link and it will take you to the Club calendar and the registration tab. You can also see others who have signed up. Below is a little more information. First, the people in charge of the Toy Run have gone out of their way to help ensure a safe and sanitary environment for everyone. Alabama does have a mandatory mask rule in place. Hotels: This year we will be staying in a different hotel and a smaller town. Hampton Inn, Winfield, AL. Their direct number is 205-487-1270. The rate is $79 plus tax (was told tax is about $15 so total hotel about $94) and again ask for the Don Norwood block or the Eldridge Toy Run rooms. The free shuttle to the Friday night supper will pick everyone up at the Hampton. The ride will leave for Eldridge Saturday morning around 9 am. We will leave from the Eldridge Children's home around noon. Will let you know the exact time once routes are completed. A couple pictures from the 2015 ride.
