Tires
Author Last Post

I'm with Dennis on Nashville Motorcycle Repair, and if you take the wheels off and bring them in they're a lot faster.

Thanks ya’ll. Basically Douglas told me exactly what I wanted to hear. Id been looking at the anakee III. Already ordered.

I have been using the Michelin anakee adventure lately and am very pleased with them. I have a 2016 GSA

I road back from Dirt Devil with Steve once. Thanks for info.

Hey Matt, good luck on picking a tire.

There are many good tires out there but I have settled on the Anakee III for my 2006 GS 1200 (139,000 miles).  On my 8th set and they last a long time, ride smooth and hold the road.  Was using Tourance when I changed but never looked back once I tried the Anakee III's.  Steve Lissner is who I use for tire changes and he is an excellent mechanic too.

my best repair shop Is Nashville Motorcycle Repair, 30 Cleveland Ave, (off murfreesboro road at near Fesslers lane) and they sell tires too, but he is busy.. need an appointment

Hey All,

I missed the picnic, had a screw in my tire. I was about to order a new set but thought I’d see what you all do for new tires. I have a 2012 gs1200. Ive been running tourance. I mostly ride street but do the dirt devil or ride to del rio/hot springs area occasionally.

I order my tires usually(revzilla), take the wheels off my bike and take everything to americas moto sports to mount and balance.

so 2 questions:

what do you like in an 80/20 tire? Haven't been riding much last 3-4 years so not sure whats out there now.

who do you use to mount and balance?

thanks.

Matt
