I have been several times, riding own Thursday, taking scenic route from just west a couple of miles from Murfreesboro.

state route 41A to Winchester and then 16 which turns into 79 the rest of the way. 16/79 supposed to be really good riding

I try and go almost every year. Still hurt can't ride but I'm gonna drive down for the day. Pretty stoked.

That’s my can’t miss event of the year and I’ve attended almost all years.   Will be taking a couple of vintage bikes to ride while my wife will be watching sports on TV back at the hotel.  It’s an event that I would highly recommend for any bike lover, even if it had to be done as an early-start day trip.

Sent from my iPad and who cares....

Me and my brother-in-law from Ohio are headed down Thursday afternoon for the weekend. Going to be a big weekend.

I decided against riding down. I hate slabbing it, and taking the twisties would be about a 4-5 hour drive not leaving me much time to enjoy the event.

I'm probably going to jump in the car about 6am and speed down there then go fast back home in time for bed. :)

I'll pack my riding gear as there will be demo bikes to ride.

Chandler at Nashville Motos said they're closing on the Saturday and organizing a group ride down from there.

Yep...I'm driving down for the day. Hotel costs are CRAZY! So it will be an early start down and back.

Anybody going to Barber, Oct 6-8 for BMW Motorrad 100th and the vintage motorcycle festival?
