Hi all,

I’ve been asked to help coordinate a women’s motocamping weekend in October. The event is for riders of widely varying experience levels, on lots of different kinds of bikes, and they want it to be reasonably close to Nashville.

I have looked into the state parks, forests and WMAs in the area and not finding too much that is unreserved and allows libations.

Does anyone know of private or primitive campgrounds in the surrounding area that maybe my maps are missing?

I’ve been allowed access to some land, but these girls are nervous about water crossings and gravel. I’m working on that. ;)

Try Natchez Trace RV Campground. Just South of Hohenwald. (931)796-3211. They have cabins and tent camping and all pavement to get there. Rod
