Motorcycle insurance coverage
Author Last Post
Current year full coverage for 2007 RT was $315.

Ken,

Premiums will vary greatly based on age/value of vehicle, and age of driver.  You can do what I did: get old, ride old bike.

Progressive replaced my Dairyland policy and similar $.

I'll be changing insurance carriers for my home and cars very soon.  However the new company wants nearly $1600.00 a year for coverage on my motorcycle.  That's nearly 3 times higher than my current company; State Farm.

So my question is:  What are your recommendations?  Farm Bureau, Progressive, Dairyland, another carrier.

I wanting to strike a balance between annual premiums and no/low hassle claims coverage should I need it.

I'm looking forward to your shared wisdom and experience.

Thanks,

Have USAA as well. They don’t cover motorcycles for vets either. I use Progressive for that. Rod
