My grandson Zach Alexander was badly injured on his motorcycle last night. He is in the Air Force, in Tucson AZ. Broken bones, awaiting MRI to know if anything worse, notwithstanding he was ATGATT at the time. Prayers are appreciated.

Thanks, Douglas. He's in exactly the right hospital for his injuries. His parents are flying there now, his GM my wife will be there tomorrow morning. Just prayers...

Thanks for checking.

The most serious concerns are (1) a severed artery that feeds blood to the brain, and (2) a brachial plexus nerve injury (did I spell that right?) that is the source of numbness to his left arm.

The severed artery sounds horrible, but we were told it is actually a fairly simple surgery, although they may need to induce a coma to ensure he isn't moving around. That should happen Sunday.

No word on when/if there will be surgery re the nerve injury to his left arm.

Prayers are still appreciated.
