BMWMCON - Riding

Eldridge Toy Run 2018 - Nov 30 to Dec 1
Douglas Pittman

Our group leaves Nashville area on Friday morning Nov 30 around 8-9 AM after we meet for breakfast, and returns home Saturday after lunch to be back in Nashville before dark.  We ride rain or shine and stay in Jasper, Alabama at the Super 8 on Friday night. Supper is provided Friday with lunch provided Saturday - both at the Children's Home.  All costs are covered by donations and you contribute any amount as they are always grateful.

Call the Super 8 directly for the Eldridge Toy Run reduced rate that is about $10 less than normal.
Super 8 Hotel

1287 Hwy 78 W

Jasper, Alabama 35501

205.221.3050

In the past there have been over 1,000 bikes along with custom cars and trucks.  It is quite a spectacle to watch them arrive and fun to mingle in the crowds with all the bike and custom vehicles.  We have special parking so we can come and go with ease and have time to enjoy the event.  Meet others from around the south and south east.  Please email me with any questions you might have and let me know directly if you can attend or think you might want to join us.

Thanks for your continued support for ECH and the mission of the home to provide a Home for children.
As you will read on our website....the home operates on donations only.... no State or Federal money and has 33 children living on Campus this week..... Since 1947 over 1000 Children has called this home....

Having the event at the home gives you a first hand knowledge of how your donation is used..... we promise you will leave with a full stomach and warm heart!

Naaaaw, I was not in charge of last week's weather.  Either Dave or Mike.

Dave wants to meet at St. Joe Cafe for breakfast the day we leave.  Any thoughts on that?

If we left here at 8:00 am we would be there about 10:00 for late breakfast/brunch.  They serve breakfast all day.  What you think?  I am open to any suggestions.  Would mean a snack and cup of coffee before we left.

Douglas,
I wish I could go with you guys again this year but unfortunately I am recovering from knee replacement surgery. I did however make an online donation to the children's home and asked they credit it to your group. Hope to see you again soon!
Blessings,
David

Wow.  Sorry you had to go through that.  Will miss you and the young ones.  Hope your recovery is going ok.  My sister in law did a double replacement and now doing great.  Took couple years with complications  but all worked out.  Thanks for the donation. Will see Don and pass on your regrets.  You are in our prayers.

 Have 11 bikes signed up.

Eldridge Toy Ride Reminder::

Join our group leaving Nashville area on Friday morning Nov 30 and meeting at 9:00 AM at the Berlin Store just north of Lewisburg, TN. Kickstands up at 10:00 AM.  We return home Saturday after lunch (12:00 noon) to be back in Nashville before dark.  We ride rain or shine (looks like rain) and stay in Jasper, Alabama at the Super 8 on Friday night.

In the past there have been over 1,000 bikes along with custom cars and trucks.  It is quite a spectacle to watch them arrive and fun to mingle in the crowds with all the bike and custom vehicles.  We have special parking so we can come and go with ease and have time to enjoy the event.  Meet others from around the south and south east.  Please email me with any questions you might have and let me know directly if you can attend or think you might want to join us.

Almost forgot.  Beautiful weather guarantee being moved to a future ride.

Supper is provided Friday with lunch provided Saturday - both at the Children's Home. All costs are covered by donations and you contribute any amount as they are always grateful.

Call the Super 8 directly for the Eldridge Toy Run reduced rate that is about $10 less than normal.

I would love to join you good old boys for the ride. I live in Greenhills and will find my way over to John’s house for 8 am

Also, I just booked what might be the last double room so if anyone’s in need of a bed I’ll be willing to put up with your 😴 snoring lol.

Thanks
