Time for the annual Eldridge Toy Run. This is a charity ride always held the first Saturday in December, rain or shine. As usual we leave Friday morning, December 4, and return home Saturday afternoon, December 5, so we are home before dark. Last year a dozen Club members made the trip, and we hope for a couple more in 2020. A few new roads are in the works, along with some old favorites. Eldridge, Alabama, is a small town with one blinking light, a 4-way stop, a service station and the Eldridge Children's Home. It's about 20 miles west of Jasper, AL, and 40 miles northwest of Birmingham. On Friday we ride to Jasper, spend the night there, ride to Eldridge Saturday morning, visit, have lunch, and head home.
